2026 Day for Daniel – Open Afternoon

Next Friday  (30th October) is ‘Day For Daniel’ and we will be learning about Keeping Kids Safe through creating safer environments in both online and offline spaces, centered around teaching children the core safety principles to Recognise, React, and Report unsafe situations.

We would love you to be a part of Australia’s largest child safety education and awareness day and invite you in to visit a classroom at 2:30pm to participate with your children in a child safety lesson. The lesson will go from 2:30 to 3:00 and then our school assembly will take place from 3:00 – 3:30pm.

Our school gates will open from 2:20pm and you are welcome to attend any safety lesson/activity from Foundation to Year 6, however it would be best to choose one class for the 30-minute lesson. Pre-schoolers are welcome too!

We will encourage our students to wear red on the day and donate a gold coin – all money raised will go to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation which works tirelessly to provide child safety education to young children.

Together, we can help keep kids safe!
