Foundation (Prep) Enrolments

All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

Is your child starting school in 2027? We look forward to welcoming your family to our school!

Starting school is an exciting milestone. Here is everything you need to know about enrolling your child in Foundation (Prep) for 2027.

1. Come and visit our school

We invite families to join an optional school tour to explore our learning spaces and meet our school community.

2026 on-site school tours are scheduled for the dates below:

Thursdays between 9:20 am and 10:20 am
- 11th November
- 25th November

2. Apply to enrol

Applications for Foundation (Prep) 2027 opened on Monday 20 April 2026.

Families can find enrolment information and application guidance through the Victorian Department of Education’s Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) webpage.

3. Important enrolment dates

20 April 2026: Enrolment applications opened.
31 July 2026: Recommended application deadline.
3–14 August 2026: Families were scheduled to be notified of application outcomes.
28 August 2026: Deadline to accept an enrolment offer.
Term 4 2026: School transition sessions.
- Tuesday 13th October 9:20 - 10:20 am
- Tuesday 27th October 9:20 - 10:20 am
- Tuesday 24th November 9:20 - 10:20 am
- Tuesday 8th December 2:30 - 3:30 pm
Thursday 28 January 2027: First day of school for Foundation students.

It's not too late to enquire!

Applications received after 31 July 2026 are processed by the school as they are received, in accordance with the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy.

Please contact our school as soon as possible to discuss enrolling your child.

4. Get ready for school

Transition sessions during Term 4 will help your child become familiar with their new school environment and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Transition dates:

Tuesday 13th October 9:20 - 10:20 am
Tuesday 27th October 9:20 - 10:20 am
Tuesday 24th November 9:20 - 10:20 am
Tuesday 8th December 2:30 - 3:30 pm
